Projects

UNM Student Housing (6/2010, Current)

This ongoing project constitutes full-service construction staking and as-built surveying for the University of New Mexico Student Housing project west of the Pit (University Arena) in Albuquerque. This site requires extensive earthwork, retention ponding, concrete retaining walls, roadways, utilities, and field engineering services which we supply as needed.

Sangre De Cristo Water System Improvements (6/2010, Current)

This ongoing project constitutes the field staking and location of over 8 miles of

new waterline within the culturally sensitive area in and around the Anton Chico area here in New Mexico.

City of Albuquerque Pino Yards monitor wells and remediation (7/2010, current)

This project involves topographic surveying on an existing fuel station area, and the location of all improvements thereon, including monitor wells.  The next phase of this project will require construction staking to locate proposed monitor wells along with as-built information collected after construction is complete. We continue to work with Intera, an Environmental Testing Company, whose requirements for this and other similar projects are evolving as the work is performed, requiring a high level of flexibility.

South Eubank Landfill Project (10/2008 through 12/2008)

This project involved extensive boundary surveying on over 1000 acres of a former landfill area, and the location of all improvements thereon, including monitor wells.  We continue to work with Intera, an Environmental Testing Company, whose requirements for this and other similar projects are evolving as the work is performed, requiring a high level of flexibility.

Manuelito State Park Boundary Survey (6/2008 through 8/2008)

This project required extensive boundary surveying over several sections of land containing close to 1000 acres, and was performed for the State Parks Division and the Energy, Mineral, and Natural Resources Department of the State of New Mexico.  Located in western New Mexico, this project required extended out of town trips, the use of both GPS and Total Station technologies, and advanced surveying math and drafting to satisfy the State requirements.

Cognitive Behavioral Institute of Albuquerque (6/2008, Ongoing)

This project began with both a boundary and topographic survey, wherein all improvements were located in a highly developed commercial/residential district in Albuquerque’s foothill area.  This data was then used in the re-platting of several parcels of land, followed by both architectural and engineering design (by others), and has finally evolved into a detailed construction project.  Wayjohn Surveying, Inc. has provided all of the Surveying needs of all parties involved in this “LEED” standards project, including all construction staking, which is currently ongoing.
